Colin Tommis Classical Guitarist

 

Colin Tommis plays a broad repertoire of classical guitar music which creates a relaxing and sophisticated ambiance for weddings, either during the ceremony itself or at the reception. His repertoire draws from South America (the Preludes of Villa Lobos for example) and Europe , (including music of Carcassi, Sor and Bach.) In addition, Colin can offavatina - best known as the theme music from the film “The Deerhunter.”

A notable part of Colin's repertoire comprises arrangements such as the theme from the “Titanic” film, Parisian Walkway by Gary Moore and versions of beautiful Welsh Folk tunes. As an active composer as well as arranger and performer, Colin is happy to write bespoke music for the occasion, or to arrange a favourite piece of music for the classical guitar.
